Marie Antoinette is best remembered for the famous words she supposedly uttered when told that the people of France were starving and had no bread.
“Let them eat cake,” she replied.
Though this quote lacks historical verity, if true, its shocking lack of compassion and understanding of the problems of the people over whom she reigned was, in part, what led to her eventual downfall and execution.
Historical ramifications aside, my first reaction to those words would have been, “Hot dog! Sign me up! Where’s my fork?”
Cake, especially chocolate cake, is a beautiful thing.
In fact, chocolate in just about any form is a beautiful, and tasty, thing.
But too much of all that wonderful tastiness is a bad thing. A bad thing that leads to wide loads, muffin tops, and lumpy bumpiness.
Or rather, moo. Moo Magic, that is, to the rescue.
Moo Magic is a way you can have your cake and eat it, too.
Only, the cake is milk, chocolate milk.
Moo Magic Milk Mix magically transforms an ordinary glass of calcium filled, osteoporosis fighting moo juice into chocolatey goodness minus all the calories.
A box of Moo Magic contains 10 little .09 ounce packets that have just 8 calories and 0 grams of fat each while offering 7 vitamins and minerals. Chocolate + vitamins + minerals = health food. You simply add the powdery mix to a glass of milk and drink in all the health benefits. Since it’s soooo healthy, I usually add at least 3 packets to my glass of milk. That’s probably like 21 vitamins and minerals or something.
Hot dog! Sign me up! Where’s my straw?
I originally purchased Moo Magic at my local Walmart for $1.99 per box. Naturally, after I was hooked on the stuff, they stopped carrying it.
Boo. No Moo.
After an exhaustive online search (ok, maybe 5 minutes) I found it on a site that sells coffee products. I ordered a case of it.
Now, the site says they are temporarily out of stock.
Don’t blame me. A girl needs her moo!
They do have the strawberry and banana flavors in stock, though. Moo for you!
Chickaliciousness: 5 for chocolatey goodness; 0 for temporarily out of stock
